I’m a sucker for a good template, Notion, and anything that’s going to boost my productivity to so I can spend more time doing what I want to do (which typically isn’t admin tasks — or really, anything that drains my energy and makes me feel like the last thing on earth I’d like to be is a freelancer).
But this thought is what brings me to today’s round-up: the three Notion templates for freelancers to increase their productivity. These are templates (and creators) that I’ve found and loved in the online space.
They’ve put so much effort into creating a Notion template that not only helps you get the task done but also enjoys doing it. Most of this includes a walkthrough or course teaching you how to set it up to match your brand.
This template is for all the freelancers and service providers out there that need a little more organization — or rather, type of organization — than most traditional project management systems offer (look at you, Asana and Click-Up).
Let me introduce you to The Project Hub + Client Dashboard by The Passions Collective. It’s a Notion space dedicated to all your projects that automatically creates a corresponding client dash so that all your tasks and to-dos are in one place!
It’s simple, aesthetic, and efficient — all the necessities of a good template.
If you’re looking for an “everything” planner, this is the one! The Freelancer Business Planner by The Template Boutique is one of my favorite recommendations and the go-to for businesses with multiple moving parts (like ours).
This is an all-in-one business hub where you can store your goals, project, and track your KPIs, cashflow, and more. The shop is on Etsy, so there are plenty of reviews and others who have customized the template to give you an idea of what it looks like (and if it could work for you).
This one my actually be my favorite (even if it’s not solely for business) — you know how much I value and share about self-care for freelancers and business owners. This Unload Notion Template by Focused Creature is right up my alley.
This is a free template to help you brain-dump your ideas and thoughts and turn them into an organized list with linked goals to help you knock out your tasks at your own pace. It’s a great resource and tool for managing your to-dos and preventing being overwhelmed by your business.
Honestly, I love seeing these templates and the different tools available to help freelancers be more organized and productive in their business. While it won’t solve all their problems (templates rarely do), it’s a great starting point.
I actually have my own idea for a Notion dashboard that I’d love to share with you one day — I just have to balance my own work and life (and passion projects) first.
Which template was your favorite? Did you actually already have one (or two) of the ones on the list? Let me know in the comments down below!
